Pickney shares insights into these four vital aspects of ministry — the need to know when to Pray, Exhort, Command or Teach when ministering to others. Just as Jesus discipled His followers before sending them out to minister, even so today the Holy Spirit is preparing us, as believers, find success in our personal lives as ministers of Christ.

A reminder of each of this seven step series of How To Develop Miracle Action:

1. Let Every Word Be Established
2. Be Not Afraid
3. Walk in the Spirit
4. Believe on the Name of Jesus
5. Use the Law of Agreement
6. Know When to Pray, Exhort, Command or Teach
7. We are a Miracle Working Family

In the scriptures, Jesus used a four-pronged method of ministry consisting of prayer, exhortation, commands and teaching. Everywhere He went, you will find the four principles flowing in and out of His ministry efforts. His prayer life was very secret, so secret in fact that even though His disciples traveled constantly with Him, they didn’t even know for themselves how to pray. They finally asked Him, “Lord teach us how to pray.” This evidences the fact that Jesus prayed in secret, even as He has instructed us to maintain a very hallowed approach to prayer:

Matthew 6:6 AMP But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open.

As a result of His excellent prayer-life, he was able to walk in the spirit with such close fellowship in the Holy Spirit, giving Him access to the operation and work of the gifts of the Spirit, i.e. Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, and Discerning of Spirits, just to name a few. These gifts enabled Him to work the many miracles that we see in the scriptures.

Two essentials for the working of miracles are: (1) Principles and (2) Ability. In these teachings we are attempting to provide the Principles. Only a relationship with the Holy Spirit can provide the Ability. Armed with accurate understanding of the principles is equally important and vital to the working of miracles.

You will learn more in this audio download or Vimeo streaming video the principles surrounding when to Pray, Exhort, Command or Teach. With these four principles working together, just as they did for Jesus, you will find success in ministering in the realm of the supernatural.

Get ready for much revelation as you enjoy this teaching.
