The thought process behind this video was to create a quasi indie game kaleidoscope. I wanted to evoke the feelings of fun, collaboration, playfulness, and openness that are present in the indie scene. I hope you enjoyed it!
Lots of Trapcode Particular, Form, Echospace, Element 3D and these cool plugins from http://omino.com
Games featured (in order of appearance):
Ridiculous Fishing, Hotline Miami, Runner 2, Spelunky, Incredipede, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Towerfall, Octodad, Guacamelee, FEZ, and Hundreds.
Client : Vector Games
Info : A short motion graphics video that i made for the new indie game “Dark Raid” developed by Vector Games. It’s a first person shooter game.Goal of this video is to explain benefits of playing video games according to academic researchs in a funny way with Dark Raid’s main character “Muddy” as a host. Dark Raid has a different concept of mixing old school FPS game style with new generation graphics. So we decided to make this video like retro style commercial of 60s and 70s to represent this concept.
If you want to know more about this video game you can check out its official website : www.darkraid.com

I’m a DJI enthusiast. Have several of their Drones. I love 360 panos. My first attempt was with the DJI Inspire 1, using Panotour Pro and Auto pano Giga. I took all the pictures manually and those programs would stitch them and make them ready for the web.. Then I tried the Hangar App , which was all automatic(both taking the pics and stitching). Pretty descent. Then DJI created a fantastic Sphere Mode Pano with the DJI Spark within the Go 4 App, which was introduced later to the other DJI drones, where all the pictures are automatically taken like the Hangar App, with a press of a button. Giga, Hangar and the Go 4 App use websites to share their panos. The neat thing about the Go 4 App method: it saves all the pictures in JPEG and RAW(DNG) files within the SD Card, giving us the option to manipulate the quality of every individual photo, before the stitching begins, giving us also the option to post directly to Facebook, by other applications.( Theta + App and 360facebook.com are faster ways to post to Facebook, but are more compressed, and do not provide the quality of the Adobe method) A friend of mine, Russell Brown, who works for Adobe, creates some awesome tutorials on the web. One video in particular caught my attention about 360 panos https://vimeo.com/246182432 His tutorial inspired me to try this Adobe method, which evolved into different experiments of my own. After posting a few of my own Panos on the internet, several people asked me how I did it. I’ve shared Russell’s videos over and over, but finally made my own(not a perfect tutorial. I noticed I made a mistake in the “filter offset” section. For that, check Russell’s video I shared here. ) I’m not doing this to get more subscribers, attention nor financial gain. It is simply for my own pleasure and a desire to inspire others like I was inspired by those who came before me. I fly for fun, and love the Perspective from above, and DJI drones , combined with other technologies , gives me that fun. So.. This video is about one of many methods of how to do a DJI 360 panorama with Adobe. Mavic Air was used here. Grabbed the DNG files saved in the Panorama folder ,saved in the SD card, after a Sphere Mode session. This method produces a Higher/Sharper Resolution than the one done by the JPEG files and shared on Skypixel. Below is the final result from my tutorial as seen by Momento360. Hope you have fun doing your own Panos.
